Graínne from Donegal, Ireland

We met Graínne, who travelled to Medjugorje with a school group from Donegal, Ireland, after morning mass today.

I’m here on pilgrimage with school, we’re all sixteen/seventeen. It is just amazing, so different. It’s such a special place.

It’s my first time here, and I really love it. We didn’t know what to expect, didn’t know what we’d be doing every day. We knew we were going to mass, but not twice a day. If we were told to go to mass twice a day at home, we would be like ‘oh my gosh, I’m not going.’ But here it’s just different and mass is so nice.
