I heard about Medjugorje because I’ve done Knock, Lourdes, Fatima, and La Vang, Vietnam. I’ve been chasing Mama Mary around the world. 

Does this feel different than those places?

It does because She’s actually here, appearing, versus back in the day.

My favorite moment was the apparition. It was just so special, so holy. This place is so special. You can feel it in the air. 

Was it hard to get here during the pandemic? Was there anything making you hesitate?

I knew if I was meant to be here, I was gonna be here. I mean, it was very difficult to get here– all the hoops you have to jump through. But if you’re meant to be here, everything’s going to work itself out. 

It’s such a holy place full of peace. All I can say is peace and joy is here. Even through this difficult year we’ve gone through, there’s still such hope, joy, and peace.

How would you describe this trip?

For me, it’s a prayer of thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for. But, of course, you always carry special intentions in your heart, your deepest desires. Just to come closer to the Lord and going deeper, getting to know Our Lady and the Lord. 

It’s just such a beautiful experience.
